Originally from country Victoria, Olivia King has moved to Western Australia to embark on a new life, leaving behind her career as a primary school teacher to begin a new creative journey.
She has worked with pottery on and off for eight years, always finding her way back to clay.
After trying countless creative outlets, it remains the constant, the love of her life, the one that keeps pulling her back in.

Her pieces are not overplanned or overworked; they evolve in the moment.
Each form feels organic and unforced, sitting somewhere between intention and spontaneity.

Olivia is drawn to colour, form, and quiet luxury, taking inspiration from textiles, mid-century palettes, and the textures and tones of the natural world.
Her glazing process is intuitive, almost instinctive. The pieces tend to create themselves as she works, with glazes leading the way and each decision guided by gut feeling.
